Tern Smart Faucet.
2019
Designing and visualizing the latest product iteration of Tern's flagship Smart Faucet
Overview
During my Co-Op with Tern in 2019, I was tasked to collaborate closely with with the in-house engineering team to design a new internal assembly for their smart faucet product to alleviate pressure issues the prior iteration was facing.
Together, we developed a new product iteration and produced a working prototype for usability testing and promotional purposes.

Assembly Design
I sketched various iterations of faucet features and assembly concepts to reimagine the interaction experience for users. Working with engineering, we modeled a new assembly in CAD and produced a physical prototype for usability testing.
Product Photography
WIth the new iteration designed and 3D printed, we worked to visualize the concept to be used for usability testing and product promotion.
A Photoshoot was scheduled in our office to photograph the prototype in use, and gather images of the office for use o the website.
Packaging Design
Along with the Product Design and visualization I worked closely with Tern's team to strategize marketing content and language, and design packaging experiences for the Smart Faucet
